prerequisites for chuunin :
- genins should be able to come out victorious without using any healing jutsus or items .
- you cannot re-use lee gates , nor can you re-wrap your puppet .
- genins should be able to use moves other than offensive ones , such as bunshin , henge , or kawarimi and come out successful doing so .
- genins should not heavily rely on shielding in order to win the match , but they may use it strategically to win the match .. anything past 15 seconds should be considered heavy usage .
- genins should not go outside of the arena at anytime , doing so will cause you to be disqualified .
- genins should not rely on freezing to win , a brief freeze in acceptable though .. this excludes sharingan freeze , and suriou .
- nara genins that use shibari will have a 3 hit limit , and a 20 second cool down .
- genin under proper circumstances , should be able to kill their opponent in an honorable way . if done right this should count towards the overall skill of the genin .
rules for kages hosting chuunin exams :
- do not host a chuunin exam if there are not at least 6 capped genin ready to take the exam . make sure they are in the chuunin room before starting the exam .
- kages don't need to pass a genin , if they do not prove they are ready for chuunin , kages don't pass them , simple .. only pass 1 genin per chuunin per exam though .. be very critical , but fair in your judgements on the fighting .
- each kage is only allowed to host 1 chuunin exam per day , however this does not mean they are required to host one .
- there must be at least 2 kages present at a chuunin exam for the best results .
- if at anytime the kages feel they have to temporarily stop or prematurely end a match they are free to do so , with a valid reason .
- during round 3 , player's hp will be edited .. for example if the two players facing each other had sub-clans , they would both get 1mil hp even .. if they had no sub-clan , they would get 500k even , but if player 1 had a sub-clan and player 2 didn't , then player 1 would get 500k hp and player 2 would get 1mil hp .. just to make things more fair and interesting .
- genins should not overuse or spam any moves during the third round of the exam , spam limit is 3 .
- if a genin enrages during a round 3 chuunin fight , they are automatically disqualified .
- genins should not stand on the water for an excessive ammount of time , no longer than 3 seconds .
- genins should not power-up until directed to by the kage .
- genins will not be able to decline their rank as chuunin , don't know why anyone would want to , but just saying ..
- genins , at no time , should intentionally attack or kill the kage(s) hosting the exam ..
- genins will not be able to move on to the third round of the exam if they do not wear a headband , this is an indication of failure in the past .
- if the kage(s) hosting the exam feel the genin fails as a shinobi they may take their headband away from them , both kages must agree on this decision .. once removed the kages must contact the genin's respective kage to handle the situation further .

the chuunin guidelines are meant to not put such a limit on the genins participating , so they can make their own judgements on what is considered 'nooby' fighting , and what is actually skill . if the kage thinks you are skillful , you will pass . if you fight like a noob , you will fail .
